Pictured is a likely Deco-era watch case with shiny bits and antique wordage. I think I want to rework the quartz fringe. The antique blue glass drop is a token from French honeymoon, and the fox(face) is paper clay derived from a mold of an item found on a dig in the United Kingdom.

Poignant Points
Etsy seller SmitherineDesigns kindly featured The Brass Arrow Necklace in this stunning treasury with all sorts of arrows.
I particularly adore the muted backgrounds and light washes of yellow, blue, gray and green Smitherine decided to include.

Forays into Card Making
A recent creation for a dear friend's marriage.
Front: Vintage image, stamps, acrylic paint, gold paint pen, Neocolor II.
Back: Scrap tag, antique map, text in reference to the couple's honeymoon destination, Washi tape, gesso.
This piece is more of a postcard than a traditional folded card. A note and the wedding gift were tucked into the pocket I created.
The envelope was also handmade from a print of a vintage map. I'm too impulsive with my crafting to actually source and use a template, so I did a lot of trial and error snipping until it looked "right."
This project was a super fun way to use up my growing paper stash and embrace try a bunch of mixed media.
It also led to the first time I didn't have to frantically search for a card store on the to way a wedding. Double win.

Treasures, Ahoy!
Bonjour! I've just returned from my honeymoon in Paris/southern France and have many tiny antique and vintage treasures to share, but that will have to wait until I have a bit more time to curate the photos.
In the meanwhile, it seems that while I was abroad, two gals with great taste kindly featured The Brass Arrow Necklace in their respective Etsy Treasuries.
Merci beaucoup!
